Note Sampler

Note Sampler (VST/AU) is a midi plugin that records snippets of MIDI onto the keys of your piano, so you can mix and match ideas with your hands instead of dragging clips around your DAW timeline. Build your own sandbox of ideas mapped across the keyboard, then play them back and let them interact.

How it works:

• Hold the record key, play something, let go.
• Whatever you played last is the armed key, and now it's a clip.
• Clips live anywhere among regular notes, so you can trigger clips and play notes at the same time.

• Step recording and step playback
• Key snapping
• Resampling: bake combinations of ideas together onto new notes
• A full piano roll, plus per-note MIDI channels
• A MIDI monitor you can drag into your DAW at any time, to get back anything you played

Clipception

Stack up to 3 keyboards inside one instance. Turn on cascade mode, and the notes one keyboard plays trigger recordings in the next, which trigger recordings in the next, and so on.
